Here at Glenwood Village Pet Hospital our goal is to give your pet a
happy and safe boarding experience. We want you to be able to enjoy
your time away from home while knowing that your pet is receiving the
best care possible.
We offer a boarding facility for your feline friend that is separate
from the dog boarding facility to make sure your pet stays in a safe
and stress free environment. Both dog and cat facilities are temperature
controlled providing a comfortable environment especially during the
summer and winter months.
During your pet's stay at our boarding facility, his or her normal
feeding and walking routines are followed to your specification by
our kennel attendants. We try to make the transition from home to
GVPH as smooth as possible. A new perk for our canine boarders are
the KURANDA orthopedic pet beds. After 3 nights of boarding we offer
a bath and nail trim for dogs at a reduced rate. Or if you would prefer,
we offer grooming for your pet by our professional groomer.
When your pet is dropped off for boarding, he or she is given a boarding
exam by one of our doctors or technicians. If your pet is on any
medication, a technician will make sure he or she receives it according
to your direction.
All pets that will be staying with us MUST be up to date on their
vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella (Kennel Cough Vaccination),
and fecal test .
Our boarding is by reservation so please call ahead to reserve
a spot for your pet, especially during the holiday season (when space
fills up quickly).
Any first time boarders require an exam by one of our vets in order
to assess his/her health and temperment. Also, bring along any food,
treats, or medications your pet is currently taking so the transition
from home to boarding goes as smoothly as possible.
