At Glenwood Village Pet Hospital (GVPH), our goal is to give your pet a happy and safe boarding experience. We want you to be able to enjoy your time away from home while knowing that your pet is receiving the best care possible.

Dogs and Cats Enjoy Separate Boarding Facilities

We offer feline guests a separate cat boarding facility from the dog boarding facility to make sure your cat enjoys a safe and stress-free environment. Both dog and cat facilities are temperature controlled providing a comfortable environment especially during the summer and winter months.

Separate Boarding Areas for Dogs & CatsPet Perks and Boarding Amenities

  • During your pet's stay with us, its normal feeding and walking routines are followed to your specification by our kennel attendants. We try to make the transition from home to GVPH as smooth as possible.

  • A new perk for our canine boarders is the Kuranda orthopedic pet beds.

  • After 3 nights of boarding, we offer a bath and nail trim for dogs at a reduced rate. Or if you would prefer, we offer grooming for your pet by our professional groomer.

Boarding Requirements

All boarding pets MUST be up to date on vaccinations and testing: Rabies, Distemper, Canine Influenza, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), and fecal test.

Prior to boarding (at the time of drop off), your pet will be examined by one of our veterinarians or technicians. If your pet is on any medication, a technician will make sure the medicine is administered according to your directions.

Any first time boarders require an exam by one of our veterinarians in order to assess its health and temperament. Also, bring along any food, treats, or medications your pet is currently taking, so the transition from home to boarding goes as smoothly as possible.

Our boarding is by reservation. Please call ahead to reserve a spot for your pet, especially during the holiday season (when space fills up quickly).
